Veda Bites are swipeable micro-lessons — each one teaches exactly one
idea. Here's a taste from this kit; the app has the full deck.
💡 Key Idea
Science is a process
A way of working, not a stack of facts.
Notice something. Shape it into a question. Think of a possible answer. Test it. Then read the result honestly, even when it disagrees with you. That sequence is science. The facts in your book are what it has produced.
💡 Key Idea
From what to how and why
The questions change this year.
Grade 6 asked mostly what things are. Grade 7 asks how they work and why they behave as they do. The second kind of question is harder. It is also the kind that explains the world instead of listing it.
💡 Tip
Aim one of three at any page
Three questions, all year.
When a chapter looks like a pile of new words, pick one and point it at the page.
💡 Key Idea
Curiosity comes first
Nothing lifts off without it.
Before looking and before testing comes wanting to know. Every piece of science began with somebody feeling that. Instruments without curiosity find nothing. Curiosity with only a pair of eyes can still start today.
💡 Key Idea
Nobody hands you the question
Half the skill is choosing the question.
In class you get a question and hunt the answer. A scientist must also decide which question is worth asking at all. Nobody hands them that, and the wrong choice wastes months of work.
✏️ Example
Just make it half
One answer, three questions.
Suppose the answer is to make it half. Somebody might have asked how to share a cake fairly. Or how to shorten an essay. Or how to fit a thing into an envelope. The answer alone does not tell you.
