The single most important property of wet steam.
Dryness fraction ($x$) is the mass fraction of vapor in a saturated mixture of liquid and vapor. It ranges from 0 (saturated liquid) to 1 (dry saturated vapor). For wet steam, $x$ is always between 0 and 1.
